This is highly specific and shows no cross-reaction with smooth muscle actin. This antibody reacts with sarcomeric actins of normal tissues and neoplasms derived from such tissues (i.e. rhabdomyosarcomas).

This antibody is predicted to react with bovine, rabbit, sheep, rat, guinea pig, and frog based on sequence homology.A suggested positive control is skeletal muscle tissue.
