Description
The V65 antibody reacts with the γδ T-cell Receptor (TCR) found on CD3+ αβ TCR-peripheral T lymphocytes, on a small subset of intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes, and on dendritic epidermal T cells. Cross-linked V65 mAb induces cytokine-dependent T-cell mitogenesis in vitro, and in vivo treatment can significantly deplete peripheral γδ TCR-expressing T cells. A suspension of rat CD3+ αβ TCR-T-cell hybridoma III.89.1.4 was used as the source of the immunogen.
