Description
AA Sequence of recombinant protein: FLLPPSTACC TQLYRKPLSD KLLRKVIQVE LQEADGDCHL QAFVLHLAQR SICIHPQNPS LSQWFEHQER KLHGTLPKLN FGMLRKMG. Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human CTACK (CCL27). Anti-Human CTACK (CCL27)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human CTACK by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mL/well) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti- Human CTACK (500-P294) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human CTACK. Western Blot: To detect Human CTACK by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 mg/mL. When used in conjunction with compatible development reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Human CTACK is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. 500-P294BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 μg
CCL27 gene is one of several CC cytokine genes clustered on the p-arm of chromosome 9. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The protein encoded by this gene is chemotactic for skin-associated memory T lymphocytes. This cytokine may also play a role in mediating homing of lymphocytes to cutaneous sites. It specifically binds to chemokine receptor 10 (CCR10). Studies of a similar murine protein indicate that these protein-receptor interactions have a pivotal role in T cell-mediated skin inflammation.Specifications
