CD31 Monoclonal Antibody (WM59), Invitrogen™
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific MA126196
MA1-26196 detects CD31 from human, Cynomolgus monkey, and Rhesus monkey samples. MA1-26196 has been successfully used in flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry and immunoprecipitation procedures. In FACS use 10 µl of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cels in 100 µL. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.CD31 antibodies are a superior marker for angiogenesis, when compared to Factor VIII and CD34 antibodies. CD31 has been used to measure angiogenesis in association with tumor recurrence. CD31 used in a panel with CD34 and Factor VIII has also been used to mark Kaposi′s sarcoma and angiosarcomas. Other studies have also indicated that CD31 and CD34 can be used as markers for myeloid progenitor cells and recognize different subsets of myeloid leukemia infiltrates (granular sarcomas).
