Detects human beta-NGF in ELISAs. In direct ELISAs, 100% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) beta-NGF and recombinant rat (rr) beta-NGF is observed and less than 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) BDNF, rhNT-3, and rhNT-4 is observed. This antibody neutralizes the bioactivity of rh beta-NGF, rm beta-NGF, and rr beta-NGF.
