Description

IgA (α-Heavy Chain) Ab-2, Rb PAb is one marker in a comprehensive ab portfolio that addresses all major disease states, ensuring the ideal tests are always available.

The most common feature of plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.

Ab-2 does not cross-react with γ (IgG), μ (IgM), ε (IgE), or δ (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes. Ab-2 is useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.
