Invitrogen™ IgA Monoclonal Antibody (mA-6E1), FITC, eBioscience™, Invitrogen™
Description
Description: The mA-6E1 monoclonal antibody reacts with the heavy chain of mouse IgA. It does not react with other isotypes of antibody, including IgD, IgG or IgM, or with other species isotypes. IgA, which is mainly found as a dimer through association of the J chain, is found in mucous secretions, but not in plasma. Fluorochrome conjugated mA-6E1 is used as a detection secondary for mouse IgA primary antibodies. Applications Reported: This mA-6E1 antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis. Applications Tested: This mA-6E1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis as a second step to detect mouse IgA primary antibodies. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 μg per test. A test is defined as the amount (μg) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 μL. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 520 nm; Laser: Blue Laser. Filtration: 0.2 μm post-manufacturing filtered.
