Requires

Either the SEV kit (Mfr. No. AS1200) or the LEV kit (Mfr. No. AS1250) to complete a functional instrument. Also requires Maxwell 16 Purification Kits.

Accessories for the Maxwell(R) 16 and Maxwell(R) 16 Forensic Instruments in either SEV or LEV Configuration

Purify samples using MagneSil™ Paramagnetic Particles, allowing optimal capture, washing, and elution of the target material. The magnetic-particle-handling instrument vigorously mixes samples with enough force to grind tissue in reagent cartridge without clogged tips and partial reagent transfers that can cause suboptimal results.

Choose Maxwell 16 SEV Hardware Kit or LEV Hardware Kit to convert the instrument to Standard or Low Elution mode, respectively

• Maxwell 16 SEV Hardware Kit is required to convert the Maxwell 16 LEV instrument to a 200 to 400μL standard elution volume (SEV) instrument for maximum yield
• Maxwell 16 LEV Hardware Kit is required to convert a Maxwell 16 SEV instrument to a 30 to 100μL low elution volume (LEV) instrument for maximum concentration
