Description

Each lightweight calibration gas cylinder is supplied with an individual certificate of analysis and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

MSA certifies that the gas mixture in each cylinder has been prepared gravimetrically, using NIST™ traceable weights.

  • For calibration of MSA instruments, each cylinder lists the proper instrument response settings
  • For calibration of other manufacturers' instruments, each calibration cylinder lists the actual gas fill in the cylinder
  • A lot number and nominal value of the gas constituents is reported on each cylinder label in percent by volume, percent by mass, ppm mass or volume
  • The uncertainty statement of the specified nominal value is also listed
