MSA Calibration Gas Cylinders
Each lightweight calibration gas cylinder is supplied with an individual certificate of analysis and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
Manufacturer: MSA 813720
MSA certifies that the gas mixture in each cylinder has been prepared gravimetrically, using NIST traceable weights.
- For calibration of MSA instruments, each cylinder lists the proper instrument response settings
- For calibration of other manufacturers' instruments, each calibration cylinder lists the actual gas fill in the cylinder
- A lot number and nominal value of the gas constituents is reported on each cylinder label in percent by volume, percent by mass, ppm mass or volume
- The uncertainty statement of the specified nominal value is also listed
Model RP Cylinders for Reactive Gases: Pressure, 500psig; size, 13.75L x 3 in. diameter (34.9 x 7.6cm); weight, 1 lb. 11 oz. (0.76kg); aluminum construction.
Model RP Cylinders for Nonreactive Gases: Pressure, 1000psig; size, 13.75L x 3 in. diameter (34.9 x 7.6cm); weight, 2 lb. 13 oz. (1.27kg); steel construction.
When using MSA calibration gas to calibrate non-MSA instruments, you must refer to the manufacturer's instruction manual for proper instrument response.
