Convenient backpack design allows cartridges and filters to be located on the user's back and out of the work zone—ideal for environments with high heat or sparks, such as welding, coke and smelting operations. Simply attach the backpack to North 7700 half mask cartridge connectors, then fasten the appropriate cartridges or filters to the backpack. No modifications, tools, or extra parts are needed.

Complete assembly includes backpack adapter and half-mask. Backpack adapter can also be purchased separately (below) to convert existing North facepieces to BP1000 Series air-purifying respirators
