It has a plaque reduction neutralization titer of 10 1.3. Induce in vitro antibody-dependent enhancement of macrophage cells. This antibody has a RS virus 90% plaque neutralization titre of 101.3.and it also has RSV enhancing activity (enhancement index range: 2.5-5.3). Gimenez et al. (1996). Gimenez et al. (1996) was the first report showing that a monoclonal antibody specific for the F protein has enhancing activity.
