- Enviro-Safe: Utilizes a non-toxic, nonflammable biodegradable liquid and dye. Available for freezer, refrigerator, incubators and room temperatures.
- Red Spirit: Mercury-free. Monitors temperatures in sub-low freezers and freezers, refrigerators, incubators and room temperatures.
- Contained in a propylene glycol vial
- Enclosed in a plastic tube to protect thermometer and to contain contents in case of breakage
