Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset, Mouse, Rat, Dog, Panda, Horse (94%); Bovine, Elephant, Pig (89%). For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

Involved in the biosynthesis of the phosphorylated O-mannosyl trisaccharide (N-acetylgalactosamine-beta-3-N-acetylglucosamine-beta-4-(phosphate-6-)mannose), a carbohydrate structure present in alpha-dystroglycan (DAG1), which is required for binding laminin G-like domain-containing extracellular proteins with high affinity.
