Features a plunger, filter and vial in one unit. Whatman™ UniPrep™ Syringeless Filter Unit are preassembled, disposable devices for quick and easy filtration and storage of lab samples with less hassle and waste than traditional syringe filter setups.

The UniPrep device consists of two parts: a test tube and a filter-plunger. When the filter plunger is pressed through the liquid, positive pressure forces the filtrate up into the reservoir of the filter-plunger. It is emptied either by decanting into a sample or autosampler vial, or by drawing the filtered sample into a syringe for manual injection into an instrument.

  • Built-in glass fiber prefilter means even difficult samples are quick and easy to prepare
  • PVDF membrane: low protein binding, ideal for organic-aqueous samples and bio-analytical samples
