AdipoGen Colcemid
Chemical. CAS 477-30-5. Formula C21H25NO5. MW 371.43. Synthetic. Depolymerizes microtubules and blocks mitosis at metaphase. Often in karyotyping and cell cycle research it is desirable to increase the yield of mitotic cells in a particular phase of the cell cycle. This can be achieved in a variety of ways with the most popular being the use of a cell cycle synchronizing agent such as demecolcine. Demecolcine will arrest cells in metaphase with no remarkable effect on the biochemical events in mitotic cells or in synchronized G1 and S phase cells. White blood cells are often treated with demecolcine to arrest cells in metaphase.
AdipoGen L-Alanyl-L-glutamine

Alanyl-L-glutamine Ala-Gln and Gylcyl-L-glutamine Gly-Gln are used in cell culture media as alternative delivery forms of stabilized L-glutamine. Alanyl-glutamine is a widely used alternative supplement to L-glutamine in the production of biopharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food products. Alanyl-glutamine also acts as an antioxidant peroxide and anti-apoptosis LPS-induced factor. Ala-Gln has been used in studies on injury and sepsis, and on the effects of irradiation on leucine and protein metabolism in vivo. Ala-Gln has been utilized to investigate polymorphonuclear leucocyte and myeloperoxidase activity in vitro. Shown to improve intestinal health and enhances the immune system. It is also involved in various clinical studies such as cancer treatment, radiation and chemotherapy.

Aluminon, the triammonium salt of aurintricarboxylic acid, is a dye commonly used to detect the presence of the aluminium ion in an aqueous solution. In addition to its use in qualitative inorganic analysis, aluminon has applications in pigment production. It forms brilliantly colored lake pigments with aluminum, chromium, iron and beryllium. Spectral data AL-Complex Absorbance at ~525nm. Aurintricarboxylic acid readily polymerizes in aqueous solution, forming a stable free radical that inhibits protein-nucleic acid interactions. It is a potent inhibitor of RNA-directed DNA polymerase and topoisomerase II. Angiogenesis inhibitor. It stimulates tyrosine phosphorylation processes including the Jak2/STAT5 pathway in NB2 lymphoma cells, ErbB4 in neuroblastoma cells, and MAP kinases, Shc proteins, phosphatidylinositide 3-kinase and phospholipase C in PC12 cells.
AdipoGen Budesonide

Budesonide is a glucocorticoid and an agonist of glucocorticoid receptors EC50=45.7pM in a transactivation assay, selective for glucocorticoid over mineralocorticoid receptors. Budesonide is a synthetic anti-inflammatory agent that displays chemopreventive activity. It is used as an anti-inflammatory agent in the treatment of asthma, rhinitis and inflammatory bowel disease and is evaluated in prevention of lung cancer. It prevents formation of lung adenomas and adenocarcinomas in mice following inhalation or oral administration. It also reverses DNA hypomethylation and modulates expression of cancer related genes. Due to its potent activity, as an inhaled glucocorticoid, in reducing airway inflammation, Budesonide has potential as treatment for early COVID-19 infection.
