Ampules
Ampules
Hermetically sealed glass ampules, usually constructed from borosilicate glass, preserve the purity and extend the content shelf life of liquid and solid samples. Pre-scored ampules have a constricted stem that allows for safe opening and eliminates the need for filing. The stems on glass ampules, which offer excellent dimensional stability for high-speed filling and sealing operations can be pull or tip-sealed, with no preservatives required because of their airtight seal. Amber glass ampules are also available for use with light-sensitive compounds.
