Our sterile petri dish are ideal for all types of culturing where accurate bacterial count or microscopic examination is required. Breathing lugs on inside cover allow free circulation of air and prevent condensation. Some of our sterile petri dishes are manufactured for filling on automatic media machines without jamming. Our petri dishes are optically clear, made from virgin polystyrene and have consistently flat bottoms. Sterility is guaranteed on all lots. These are premium quality agar petri dishes that are demanded by discriminating users and our prices are extremely competitive with brands of much lesser quality. These non-treated polystyrene plates are transparent and DNase/RNase-free. The bottom has a ridge allowing for easy handling and stacking. The plate has three vents for gas exchange and comparents for bacterial culture use with different media under the same conditions.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Petri Dish With Absorbent Pads
A 50x9 mm petri dish design that is easily opened with one hand, yet closes to a tight seal by its unique double rim. Specimen samples are preserved until you are ready to analyze them. Humidity remains locked in. When loaded with a 47 mm absorbent pad, it is ideal for drying coated grids, removing water from grids that are supporting sections. Dishes sterilized by gamma radiation.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Glass Culture Dish, 100 x 15 mm
These flat, clear dishes will withstand repeated sterilization (wet or dry). The edges are beaded to provide greater mechanical strength. The bead also provides a means to equally space the sidewalls of the bottom and cover, thereby reducing the capillary action of condensed moisture on the slides. They are not effected chemically or thermally by methods commonly employed in laboratories including sterilization. The covered dish is not airtight.
The tops are marked in blue enamel and the bottoms are marked in white enamel to make sorting easier. Bottoms also have a triangular, enamel reference point for serial dilutions.
