Popular jars for staining and processing microscope slides. Fixed slides can be stained and dried without removing from jar. Plastic coplin jar and cap are molded from thick high density polyethylene that is microwave transparent. Polyethylene lid is vented for use in microwave applications. Internal grooves hold up to ten standard 1 x 3 inch slides.

Unique slide staining system features a square staining jar and a vertical slide rack. Both components are made from heavy duty acetal polymer resistant to alcohol and Xylene. Staining jar has a wide stable base and a recessed interior cavity with a reduced volume capacity of 80ml. Slide staining rack holds up to 12 slides with dimensions of 25 x 75mm, 25x76mm or 1" x 3". Slides are held vertically for easy insertion and removal. Rack is designed for quick drying of slides in a microwave oven or at temperatures up to 120°C. Jars available in five different colors for sample identification.

The dish is made from polymethylpentene "glass clear" for use with our staining rack (Cat# 70321-10) shown above. It comes with two lids; one lid should be used when the rack is not inserted.

Slide staining set contains a nontarnishable stainless steel, slotted rack, designed to hold 50 slides in a variety of sizes( 3" x 1", 3" x 1.5", and 3" x 2"), a dish and cover. The unit measures approximately 200 x 105 x 83 mm overall. The rack is resistant to most staining solutions. The handle is permanently attached allowing for closure of the dish and for easy insertion and removal of the slides.
