Self-standing, non-slip supports hold the pre-scored aluminum foil sheets film roll securely in place for quick and easy bench-top dispensement. The roll unwind tension can be easily adjusted to user preference. Continuous backing liner can be torn off or fed directly into a wastebasket for disposal. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery. 2.0mil aluminum foil removes easily without tearing. The conformable nature of foil allows for the visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Not recommended for long-term cold storage.
Alkali Scientific Multi-Seal™ Multilayer Polyethylene Sealing Film, 50/pk
Multi-Seal™ Multilayer Polyethylene Sealing Film consisting of a top pierceable clear polyethylene film and a white polypropylene sublayer with 96 circular areas void of adhesive. The white sublayer aids in the alignment of the film to the plate; alignment of opposing corner wells ensures that all 96 wells will be properly aligned. The adhesive-free zones are 9mm on center to facilitate multi-channel pipetting without adhesive fouling of pipet tips or robotic probes. Offers excellent chemical resistance and is pierccable. Samples have minimal contact with adhesive due to the adhesive-free zones.

Xtreme™ Seal features an extra-strong thick adhesive to minimize evaporation, yet removes easily without leaving residue on the plate. Features chamfered corners to eliminate plate overhang for robotics applications and tight storage conditions. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Ideal for use with raised-rim and non-skirted PCR plates. Selection of the proper film size will minimize evaporation. The film should not overhang or ride up the wall of a raised-rim plate. More complete coverage of skirted flat-top plates will reduce evaporation in the outer wells. End-tab removal before thermal cycling is highly recommended.

An inert strong temperature-resistant adhesive assures reliable sealing around each well. Two end tabs assist in positioning the sealing film. Easy removal of the end tabs at perforated boundaries prevents lifting and higher evaporation rates that can occur with sealing films that overlap the plate rim.
