Erlenmeyer Baffled Flasks for shaker, storage, and titration functions are available. Choose flat bottom plastic or borosilicate glass options with durable white enamel scales or reinforced rims. Select disposable or autoclavable models with baffled bases in a variety of graduation ranges and capacities. Some flasks include both vented and solid screw caps for easy exchange. Sterile, individually wrapped, and pyrogen, DNase, and RNase free models are offered for cell culture applications. Heavy duty rim flasks with narrow neck and mouth from various suppliers are also available. Erlenmeyer flasks are sold in multipacks and economical case PC bottle Sterilized by E-Beam Nonpyrogenic Individually wrapped in a plastic bag. Both vent caps and plug seal caps are available. Vent caps with 0.22um hydrophobic filters for gas exchange without contamination.

The polypropylene screw caps are vented with 0.2µm membranes to increase air transmission and enhance cell growth. The mouth size conforms with the international SBS standard, for quick, secure connection to bioreactor equipment.Polycarbonate flasks and Jumbo Fernbach flasks have baffled (ribbed) bottoms to provide increased oxygenation and mixing efficiency even at lower shaking speeds. All flasks, regardless of size, are individually wrapped and gamma sterilized to SAL 10-6, and they are free of RNase, DNase, pyrogen, endotoxins and human DNA. Polycarbonate Flasks are autoclavable at 121°C and 15PSI for 30 minutes.

Flask has 3 baffles on the lower outside edge of the flask to maximize oxygen transfer to the culture medium when used on an orbital shaker. The polypropylene vented caps have a 0.22m (PTFE) hydrophobic membrane to allow sterile gas exchange while preventing contamination. Since these caps are vented, the flasks can be autoclaved with the cap attached. Please Note: Glass Shake and Fernbach flasks are not designed for use with a SOLID screw cap for culture of anaerobic microorganisms. (Pressure resistant bottles, flasks or tubes are recommended).
