Plastic Tubing
Plastic tubing of various lengths and bores constructed of materials suitable for general laboratory, biopharmaceutical, food and beverage, medical, vacuum, low-pressure, high-pressure, cleanroom or environmental applications. Products may be chemical- or corrosion-resistant. Formulated for resistance to flex fatigue and abrasion, plastic tubing is more flexible and less permeable than rubber tubing.
How Is Plastic Tubing Used?
Flexible plastic tubing may be used as transfer lines for contamination fluid control, hydraulics, protective jacketing, vacuum pump and diaphragm pump feeds and discharges, refrigeration, water and fluid lines, food and beverage, instrumentation, research laboratories, agriculture, material handling, air and gas lines, chemical lines and pharmaceuticals.
Types of Plastic Tubing:
• PVC: lightweight and flexible, will retain its bore on bending and can be sterilized up to 121°C
• Silicone: ideal where a hard-wearing material is needed, including transfer of liquids or higher temperature environments
• LDPE: good for general low pressure and temperature, instrumentation, corrosive atmosphere, and food processing
• PTFE: has excellent chemical-resistant and temperature-resistant properties
• PE: flexible, lightweight, durable, and corrosion resistant, used for a wide range of liquid, gas, and fluid transfer applications
• FEP: clear, small-diameter tubing, the economical choice for chemical resistance and broad temperature exposure
• PEEK: high-performance polymer with mechanical and chemical resistance, and highly resistant to thermal degradation
Grainger Corrugated Tubing Nylon 1-1/4 in 50 ft
The Corrugated Loom Tubing from Grainger is a flexible, corrugated tubing made of polyethylene that provides protection for wires, cables, and hoses. It has an inside diameter of 1 inch and is sold by the foot in lengths up to 100 feet. The tubing features a split seam for easy wrapping and securing with nylon cable ties. It is lightweight, moisture resistant, and rated for temperatures from -20°F to 176°F. The corrugated design allows the tubing to flex and bend without kinking. The Polaris insulated multitap wire connectors are designed for connecting and splicing multiple wires. Applications: Demanding lab, chemical, electrical, mechanical, pharmaceutical, and automotive applications. Excellent for the transfer of extreme temperature or highly corrosive materials. Also good for high-purity work. Characteristics: Chemically inert, nontoxic, heat resistant, with a low coefficient of friction. Doesn¿t deteriorate with age. Tough, but bends even at -454¿F (-270¿C). Translucent. Certifications: Resin is FDA-compliant (21 CFR 177.1550). Tubing is manufactured in ISO 9001-2008 approved facility. Temperature range: -454 to 400¿F (-270 to 205¿C) Sterilize: Autoclave, ethylene oxide, or use dry heat.

Certification: Elastomer is FDA-compliant (21 CFR 177.2600) and meets USP Class VI requirements. Tubing is manufactured according to GMP. Temperature range: -60 to 460¿F (-51 to 238¿C) Sterilize: Autoclave or gamma irradiation.
Grainger Corrugated Tubing PE 1/2 in 25 ft
The Corrugated Loom Tubing 1/2" is a flexible, split, corrugated tubing made of polyethylene that can be used to bundle and protect wires and cables. It has an inside diameter of 1/2", is sold by the foot, and is available in black, gray or white colors. The tubing features a flame retardant split design for easy wire insertion and removal. It provides abrasion resistance and protection against liquids and chemicals. The operating temperature range is -20°F to 176°F. This tubing meets military specification MIL-I-631D and is made in the USA.

The Polaris Insulated Multitap Connector is a heavy duty electrical connector that allows multiple wires to be connected to a single point.
