Grainger Thread Sealant Tape, Low Density
The Oatey Low Density Thread Sealant Tape is a PTFE tape used for sealing pipe threads. It is 1/2" wide x 260" long and has a thickness of .003". It can be stretched for easier wrapping and provides a leak-proof seal. The tape is NSF approved for potable water systems and resists oils, fuels, acids and solvents. It can be used on plastic or metal pipe threads and fittings. The tape helps prevent galling and damage to threads during assembly.
