Column, Chromatography, 45/50 Outer Joint, 3in ID X 24in E.L., 4mm Stopcock. Similar to CG-1188 but with a sealed in COARSE porosity fritted disc to support column packing. Column is constructed using MEDIUM WALL TUBING. Can be used as a gravity eluted column or a flash column (as described by W.C. Still, M. Kahn and A. Mitra of Columbia University in JOURNAL OF ORGANIC CHEMISTRY 43, 2923 (1978), and covered in U.S. Patent Number 4,293,422 dated October 6, 1981) when used with optional CG-1191 flow controller and CG-1190 reservoir.

These empty 2.5ml laboratory columns come with an inserted lower filter with a pore size of 10um. Each column has Luer-lock connectors on both sides for tubing and syringes. To close the columns tightly, the 2.5ml columns have a Luer-lock closing cap. These columns can be centrifuged and autoclaved (with filters at 110°C). Each package of columns includes two one-way stopcocks.
