The Microplate mixer has high speed action for increased mixing of up to 4 microplates (8 with optional accessory tray). Heat will not be transferred to your microplates. The fan (located in the bottom of the unit) directs air downward and out of the unit. As a result, room air is constantly drawn into the unit underneath the tray that holds the microplates, insuring that samples will not be heated.
Features aggressive mixing speed from 750-3200 RPM for complete and uniform mixing in any microplate format.
Small vortexing orbit of 1.0 mm for thorough mixing regardless of sample viscosity.
Speed and orbit combine to offer true vortexing action in each well of a microplate.
Accepts most microplate types

Genie Temp-Shaker 100 offers gentle orbital mixing and shaking 20-100rpm. Features interchangeable platforms, clear dome for 360° viewing, fast temperature ramp up, minimal temperature fluctuation with open door, and non-slip tray for spill conatainment. Heater achieves a stable 75°C in only 20 minutes while temperature flow allows minimal loss when chamber door is open. Shakers feature unique access via door, removable cover or kick stand (back, left or right).
Temp-Shaker is supplied with non-slip tray. Optional platforms include: Ratching Clamp Platform provides extra flexibility for using a mix of different size and shape vessels on a single platform. Orbi-Shaker CO2 performs shaking, mixing and aeration operations in any laboratory environment including CO2 incubators. Withstands temperatures from 0°C to 60°C and RH up to 100%. Unique remote control module allows digital setting and adjusting of shaker speed and cycle time without opening incubator door. Remote module connects to shaker with a five foot long thin ribbon cable that fits easily through an access port. On incubator models without a port, the cable slips under door gasket without interrupting chamber seal.
Supplied complete with shaker unit, non-slip aluminum platform, remote control module and ribbon cable.
Optional magnetic platforms are available separately for use with flasks and tubes.
