These multiposition stirrers have four user-friendly operating modes that allow the selection of specific rows and columns, individual stirring of each position, or simultaneous stirring of all positions. Units are easy to read with digital VFD control monitors and LED operating lamps. The advanced microprocessor PID controls accurately control stirring speed. Top plates are stainless steel for excellent chemical resistance. Brushless DC motors are quiet and durable. Gradual start-up, built in thermal shutdown, and current limit protection device provide user safety.

The soft-start/stop feature provides slow acceleration and deceleration of the stirrer, avoiding excessive turbulence in the culture media and eliminating cell damage. Use the interval stirring mode during the attachment phase to further reduce agitation of the media or when culturing particularly fragile cells. The stirrers create virtually no heat making them suitable for use in both incubators and cold rooms. The culture vessels incorporate a unique base design which, together with the bulb-ended stirrer, ensures that the cells are lifted into suspension at the lowest possible speeds. Stirrer has a bright digital display to accurately set the stirring speed. The speed is adjustable in 10 rpm increments from 80 up to 1500 rpm. SpeedServo ensures constant speed even when the viscosity changes.

MultiMagStir Genie, 120V. The MagStir Genie can be used with any regular beaker and a maximum sample weight of 11lbs. The MultiMagStir Genie may be used with up to (4) 1L beakers and a maximum sample weight of 22lbs. High and low speed range including reverse and interval stirring for gentle stirring to aggressive mixing for vicious polymers. Units have three power levels for various sample viscosities. The low-profile stirrers use microprocessor control for precise and reproducible operation. Manual mode provides stir, stir reverse and time functions. Profiles mode allows users to quickly program speed, ramp rate, stir direction, time (including pause) and power level in 9 distinct steps. Up to 4 stirring programs can be saved. Automatic mode recalls and executes one of up to 4 user-defined protocols. Not recommended for cell culture.
