FNDR-20123 is an orally active anti-malarial histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor with low-nanomolar activity against both Plasmodium and human HDAC enzymes. It inhibits multiple HDAC isoforms, shows potency against asexual and sexual blood stages of Plasmodium falciparum, and retains activity versus tested resistant strains. Supplied as a solid and as a 10 mM solution in DMSO, the compound is characterized with ~98% purity.
