The Low Profile Lid is made of anodized aluminum and is screwed on and off of the grid box with a hex key/allen wrench. The lid is compatiable with Nanosoft pin lid type grid boxes. The low thickness of the lid means you can stack 2 grid boxes and lids in 1 pocket of a cryoEM grid storage puck, doubling your storage capacity.
