Bst 2.0 WarmStart DNA Polymerase is an in silico designed homologue of Bacillus stearothermophilus DNA Polymerase I, Large Fragment (Bst DNA Polymerase, Large Fragment) with a reversibly-bound aptamer, which inhibits polymerase activity at temperatures below 45°C. At temperatures above 45°C, the aptamer rapidly releases from the enzyme with no special activation step needed to activate the polymerase. Bst 2.0 WarmStart DNA Polymerase contains 5' to 3' DNA polymerase activity and strong strand-displacement activity but lacks 5' to 3' exonuclease activity. So a B-lineage population that co-expresses CD43 is highly likely to be a malignant lymphoma, especially a low-grade lymphoma, rather than a reactive B-cell population. When CD43 antibody is used in combination with anti-CD20, effective immunophenotyping of the lymphomas in formalin-fixed tissues can be obtained.
