Mycoplasma pneumoniae (ATCC 15531™)
Mycoplasma pneumoniae FH strain of Eaton Agent (ATCC 15531™) is a whole-genome sequenced strain. It is the first mycoplasma identified as a human pathogen and is widely used in respiratory disease research, media testing, and pharmaceutical QC. This strain is recommended as a test organism for USP <63> mycoplasma testing.

The cAMP Hunter AGTRL1 Gi cell line is a stable, engineered cell line for use in studying drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This cell line enables assessment of ligand (e.g. apelin-13) based activation of AGTRL1 GPCR activity via detection of decreasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type AGTRL1, a naturally Gi/Go coupled GPCR. Upon activation of AGTRL1, the decrease in levels of intracellular cAMP leads to a decreased signal from EFC when the cAMP detection kit is applied.
