If kept under appropriate storage temperatures, CHROMagar™ powder products have a long shelf life (2-3 years). This flexibility is essential to avoid the costly waste resulting from unused plates. This product requires a refrigerated supplement to use properly; these are shipped free of charge along with the product. Supplements contain compounds that cannot be heated, therefore the compounds would degrade in the base if stored together for a long time.
Expression Systems Sf9 cells, Suspension in ESF 921, 1M cells/mL (50mL/125mL flask)
Expression Systems offers insect cell lines adapted to serum-free suspension culture in either ESF 921 or ESF AF. The availability of pre-adapted cells saves significant time and expense associated with the adaptation of cultures.
The Sf9 insect cell line is a clonal isolate derived from the parental Spodoptera frugiperda cell line IPLB-Sf-21-AE. Sf9 cells are adapted for suspension culture in ESF 921 or ESF AF and are available as a frozen vial or suspension culture. Sf9 cells are commonly used to produce recombinant baculoviral stocks and to produce recombinant proteins.
