LipoFexin is a lipid-based transfection reagent that forms complex with DNA or RNA, and transports the complex into cells. It works on a variety of adherent and suspension cell lines. It can be used for transfection of either DNA or RNA into eukaryotic cells in culture media with or without serum. LipoFexin has been compared to work at the similar way and efficiency as the Lipofectamine 2000 transfection reagent. LipoFexin has the following Special Features: • Superior transfection efficiency for a broad range of cell lines. • No requirement of removal of serum from culture medium. • No requirement for washing or changing of medium after transfection. • Low cytotoxicity.

SusFexin is a biodegradable polymer based transfection reagent for suspension cell transfection. When mix with DNA, it will form complex with DNA and transport the complex into a variety of suspension cell lines. A remarkable feature of the reagent is the rapid and complete degradation of polymer after transfection, leading to a much less cytotoxicity to the transfected cells and improving transfection efficiency and productivity of trans-gene expression.

The KILR Retroparticles for Suspension Cells (Hygromycin B) are MMLV particles designed to transduce suspension cells. This allows production of ProLabel-tagged, hygromycin B-resistant target cells of interest for use in cytotoxicity assays involving detection of cell lysis. This product uses EFC technology. The retroparticles mix can be used to transduce target cells with a ProLabel-tagged housekeeping gene. Target cell death in a cytotoxicity assay will release ProLabel to the media, where EA contained in the detection reagent will produce EFC signal. These retroparticles ship as 4 vials of cryopreserved retroparticles. Nupherin™ dramatically enhances the performance of commercially available cationic lipids to allow high-efficiency lipofection (10-40%) of neuronal, ganglion and other difficult to transfect cells. Efficient lipofection is limited by the ability of transfected DNA to enter the nucleus – a particular obstacle in nondividing or slow dividing cells like neurons. Nupherin, a peptide based reagent that combines a non-classical nuclear localization sequence (M9) with a nucleotide binding domain, helps to transport DNA into the transfected cell's nucleus. Nupherin has been demonstrated to provide high efficiency lipofection of primary rat hippocampal neurons, chicken embryonic retinal ganglian cells, rat pheochromocytoma (PC12) cells and other recalcitrant cells. Fully compatible with cells grown on glass coverslips, in plastic plates, or in tissue-culture flasks. Formulation: Liquid. Sterile solution. Long Term Storage: -80°C.
