CHEMOMETEC Solution 17 Blood Lysis Buffer, 25ml
Solution 17 – Blood Lysis Buffer is used for sample preparation prior to enumerating dead and viable leukocytes in blood samples, such as EDTA-treated whole blood, buffy coats, and bone marrow. The Blood Lysis Buffer is designed for preferential lysis of erythrocytes and simultaneous staining of leukocytes in blood samples. The solution contains two different dyes: acridine orange stain all nucleated cells and 4’,6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAPI) stains nonviable cells only. Storage: 2 – 7°C. *All ChemoMetec products are shipped at ambient temperature. Function and quality of products have been validated to ensure shipment at ambient temperature (14 days) does not have any influence on products. At receipt, products should be stored accord to the defined storage conditions available on the package insert.

Aat Bioquest Calbryte™ 520 AM | 1mg
Calbryte™ 520, AM is a novel fluorescent and cell-permeable indicator for the measurement of intracellular calcium. Like other dye AM esters, Calbryte™ 520 AM is non-fluorescent and non-activatable. Once Calbryte™ 520 AM enters the cell, it is readily hydrolyzed by intracellular esterase where it becomes activated and responsive to calcium. The activated indicator is now a polar molecule that is incapable of freely diffusing through the cell membrane, essentially trapping it inside the cell. Upon binding calcium ions, Calbryte™ 520 produces a bright fluorescence signal with extremely high signal/background ratio. It has the identical excitation and emission wavelength as Fluo-4, thus the same Fluo-4 assay settings can be readily applied to Calbryte™ 520-based calcium assays.

Upon application to a cell which contains endogenous, untagged cAMP, the anti-cAMP antibody will be sequestered by binding to this untagged cAMP, allowing for EFC between the tagged cAMP and soluble EA. This will produce a proportional level of chemiluminescent signal. This kit format is intended for Small Molecules, with a protocol written for use in a 384-well plate.
