CEF Control Peptide Pool, (1 mg) This product contains 0.03 mg (net) of the 32 CEF peptides for a total of 1 mg in one vial. Used in the stimulation of IFNy release from CD8+ T cells in individuals with defined HLA types, these epitopes are useful in applications such as ELISPOT, intracellular cytokine and CTL assays.
Mabtech Inc CEF peptide pool for human CD8 T cells
The CEF peptide pool stimulates CD8+ T cells to produce preferentially IFN-γ and is recommended as a positive control in IFN-γ ELISpot and FluoroSpot assays using human PBMC. The CEF peptide pool consists of 23 MHC class I-restricted viral peptides from human CMV, EBV and influenza virus. It has been shown to induce IFN-γ responses in almost 90% of all Caucasians.
