Thyroglobulin is a 660 kDa dimeric pre-protein with mutiple glycosylation sites. It is produced by and processed within the thyroid gland to produce the hormone thyroxine and triiodothyronine. Prior to forming dimers, thyroglobulin monomers undergo conformational maturation in the endoplasmic reticulation. The vast majority of follicular carcinomas of the thyroid will give positive immunoreactivity for anti-thyroglobulin even though sometimes only focally. Poorly differentiated carcinomas of the thyroid are frequently anti-thyroglobulin negative. Adenocarcinomas of other-than-thyroid origin do not react with this antibody. This antibody is useful in identification of thyroid carcinoma of the papillary and follicular types. Presence of thyroglobulin in metastatic lesions establishes the thyroid origin of tumor. Malt Extract Agar with Chloramphenicol is a nutrient rich culture medium widely used for the isolation, enumeration, and cultivation of yeasts and molds. Each tube contains approximately 30 mL of agar and is commonly supplied as a pour tube, allowing laboratories to prepare one standard petri dish or multiple smaller plates. The medium is based on malt extract, which provides abundant carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins, and minerals that support rapid fungal growth. Its naturally acidic pH favors fungi while discouraging bacterial contamination. To further enhance selectivity, the formulation includes chloramphenicol, a heat stable broad spectrum antibiotic that inhibits many Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. This combination allows reliable recovery of fungal organisms from environmental, food, or laboratory samples.

Nutrient Agar Slants (10 mL) are general purpose culture media used for cultivating and maintaining a wide variety of non fastidious microorganisms. The larger 10 mL fill provides an expanded slanted surface and deeper agar butt compared with standard slants. This increased volume helps retain moisture for longer periods, making the tubes suitable for extended storage of stock cultures. The medium contains beef extract and peptone that supply essential nutrients including amino acids, vitamins, and organic nitrogen compounds. The slanted surface allows aerobic growth while the deeper portion of the medium helps maintain hydration. These slants are widely used in microbiology laboratories for culture maintenance, biomass generation, and preparation of sub cultures.

CD9 is a type IV transmembrane glycoprotein with four transmembrane domains. CD9 on pre-B cells may play a role in cell-cell adhesion. In addition, CD9 may play a role in signal transduction mediated by interaction with low molecular weight GTP binding proteins. CD9 is expressed on early B cells, eosinophils, basophils and activated T cells and is a major component of the platelet cell surface. It is also expressed on most non-T acute lymphoblastic leukemia cells and on some acute myeloid and chronic lymphoid leukemia.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF Dyes and other labels. CF Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF405S and CF405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.

ACES buffer helps maintain the proper pH for optimal growth.
