The PathHunter FLT4 Activity eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study small molecule drug candidates targeting RTKs. This kit assesses RTK activity via detection of resulting FLT4 phosphorylation-induced SH2 domain protein recruitment. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged FLT4 to the extracellular ligand binding domain of EGFR alongside an EA-tagged SH2 domain protein. Upon ligand induced receptor activation, cross-phosphorylation of the receptor leads to SH2-EA recruitment and production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Tribioscience’s Tyrosine Colorimetric Assay kit is a simple, and sensitive approach that can detect normal and abnormal concentrations of Tyrosine in biological fluids. The assay is based on the enzymatic oxidation of Tyrosine producing a stable signal (OD 492 nm), which is directly proportional to the amount of Tyrosine. Sample preparation is minimal and does not require strenuous or complicated procedures. The assay can detect as low as 15 µM of Tyr in a variety of biological samples. The kit is enough for 100 assays.
