Ranolazine-d3 is the deuterium labeled Ranolazine, which is known as an anti-angina agent (CVT 303). It functions by inhibiting the late phase of inward sodium current (INa and IKr) at IC50 values of 6 μM and 12 μM, respectively, without influencing heart rate or blood pressure. Additionally, it serves as a partial fatty acid oxidation (FAO) inhibitor and an antianginal agent.
- Used as a tracer.
- Can be used as an internal standard for quantitative analysis by NMR, GC-MS, or LC-MS.
- Deuterium substitution can affect the pharmacokinetic and metabolic profiles of drugs.
