X Shape Pre-Slit provides a greater target area for needles and are easier to penetrate but do not reseal as well as single slit septa. Recommended for Waters Alliance & Acquity instruments. Soft-Guard™ Septa are easier to penetrate by autosampler needles, and re-seals better than other Caps on the market. This provides longer instrument up-time, fewer missed injections and more consistent data. Use for HPLC, GC, LCMS or GCMS.

Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Yellow Cap, Starburst Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials.
