Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Yellow Cap, Starburst Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. These aluminum crimp caps are 8mm in diameter with a 4mm center hole and have a Pre-Slit, Ultra-Clean, fitted silicone rubber and PTFE septum that is 1.3mm thick. Use these caps with 8mm Serum Finish, Crimp Top Autosampler Vials. These are Pre-Slit to make it easier for the instrument needle to penetrate the septum and offers reduced resistance. It may not reseal as well as other Non-Slit Septa.
