The unhurt PTFE lamination gives 100% protection to the sample while leaving a 0.05mm thick PTFE portion remaining for needle penetration. The Y-form in the pre-cut silicone allows for a better flow of air during sample pick up in order to avoid a vacuum in the vial. Designed for use with any autosampler using a magnet to transport the vial from station to station.
