This narrow mouth, vial is manufactured with virgin, medical grade polypropylene and is amberized. The built-in insert has a 300ul total fill capacity. Residual volume can be as low as 2ul depending on the autosampler and viscosity of samples used. Popular for samples that react with glass and often used in bio-analysis with aqueous samples or light sensitive compounds. This vial is considered low actinic.

Poly Crimp Seal, 11mm, Blue Cap, 10mil PTFE Septum. A crimp cap constructed of plastic that fits virtually any 11mm crimp sample vial. Use a standard crimping tool to securely crimp the Poly Crimp seal onto any crimp top vial. The Poly Crimp seal also permits an airtight seal by hand without crimping. Although the Poly Crimp seal can work with any crimp top vial, the tighter manufacturing tolerances and quality assurance program with the vials supplied by Chemglass certifies better performance when the cap is used with Chemglass supplied vials. Write-On Patch and fill lines are epoxy paint for reduced smearing with solvents. Use with 11mm aluminum crimp caps. These wide opening vials have serum finish tops that provide the best seal for chromatography, when used properly with correct aluminum crimp caps.

The Aeroquip 16P811 hydraulic crimp fitting is a straight fitting made of steel with a zinc dichromate finish. It has a 1/4" NPT male thread and is designed for use with 1/4" OD tubing. The operating pressure is up to 5000 psi. This reusable fitting creates a leakproof seal. It requires a hex crimping tool to secure tubing in place. The dimensions are 15/32" width x 1-1/32" length. This fitting is commonly used in fluid power systems.
