P 22077 is a cell-permeable ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7) inhibitor, also inhibiting USP47. It causes DUBs inhibition in HEK293T cells and significantly reduces the viability of Neuroblastoma (NB) cells. P 22077 increases p53 activity, inducing apoptosis in p53 wild-type and HDM2-expressing NB cells, and enhances the cytotoxic effects of Dox and VP-16. In vivo, it exhibits potent antitumor activities in xenograft mouse models.
