Gas Bubbler Receivers
Gas Bubbler Receivers
Gas bubbler receivers, used to maintain an atmosphere that is inert within a reaction system, serve as one-way valves. Gas or vapors from the inlet bubble through fluid prior to venting to the atmosphere. The inlet of a gas bubbler receiver is typically connected to a ground glass joint, with the outlet vented to the air. Clear gas bubbler receivers allow easy visual confirmation that the system is being flushed with inert gas, while the inlet pressure can be adjusted based on the rate at which bubbles form.
