EZseal™ StripFoil™ For sealing a 8 strip PCR Tubes or a single row of a 96-well plate. An economical and more user-friendly alternative to PCR strip-caps; no sore thumbs guaranteed! Precision cut to a smaller dimension for sealing one PCR 8-tube strip or a single row of a 96-well plate whenever rows must be selectively protected or accessed. FilmStrips remove easily with no splash back as can occur with strip-caps. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Features an extra strong, thick adhesive to minimize evaporation. Each sheet contains 8 strips on a continuous liner. A non-locking workstation is recommended for sample prep (e.g. 96-well round-boom plate).

General Purpose polypropylene films offer superior barrier properties to minimize evaporation and prevent well-to-well contamination. Ideal for use with polypropylene plates.Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Features good chemical resistance. Provides a very secure seal to minimize evaporation, but is slightly harder to remove than SealPlate films. Less rigid polypropylene film reduces aerosols upon removal. Specially formulated adhesive minimizes plate residue. Can be used as a temporary seal while awaiting further processing.

AlumaFoil™ Aluminum Foil PCR Sealing Film, PCR features a specially formulated adhesive that provides an excellent seal to minimize evaporation, reduce cross-contamination and prevent spillage. Universal fit for all plate types (e.g. flat-top, raised-rim and non-skirted); the smaller dimensions and rounded corners result in no plate overhang for robotics applications. Certified DNase- & RNase- free. Pierceable with a pipet tip or robotic probe for direct sample recovery. 2.0mil aluminum foil removes easily without shredding or tearing. The conformable nature of foil allows for the visual verification of the seal’s security around each well. Not recommended for long-term storage.

X-Punch™ pierceable sealing film is designed for short-term processing and storage of samples that require multiple access to wells by pipet tips or robotic probes. A pre-cut “X” over each well creates bendable flaps that provide sample access without coring or adhesive fouling of tips or probes. X-Punch has printed circles aid in the alignment of the film to the plate. It also has printed alphanumerics identify each well of a 96-well plate. It is piercable and reseals after piercing for continued sample protection.

Peelable heat sealing film, optically clear; suitable for qPCR and optical applications Heat sealing offers a 100% effective method for plate sealing for a complete seal integrity, as well as being quick and cost effective. Our Clear Heat Seal is an optically clear laminate film forming a peelable seal to polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, polycarbonate and cyclic olefin copolymer (COC) plates. Samples can also be accessed by pre-piercing with a blade, needle or our Pierce Plate (4ti-0398). The optical clarity of this seal enables its use for sealing plates required for imaging use, including fluorescent detection methods such as qPCR and colorimetric assays. The Clear Heat Seal forms a complete seal to a plate enabling both low temperature uses, including low temperature storage, and high temperature uses, such as PCR (when used with a pressurised heated lid).
