Protect personnel from waste material containing beta-emitting isotopes.
Radioactive material waste bags are available in a variety of convenient sizes and styles to help sort and identify different types of waste. Strong, bottom-sealed waste liners are free of heavy metals, making them safe for landfill or incineration.
The Original Locking Container for Radioactive Materials, The Rad-Lock Box container increases security for storage of radioactive materials in the laboratory. Constructed of thick, heavy duty acrylic with a built-in cylinder key lock and tamper resistant hinges. Rad-Lock Box containers limit and control access to only authorized individuals. Rad-3 Lock Box can accommodate a five gallon carboy(sold separately) or contaminated items such as gloves, tips, tubes and glassware. Optional casters are also available (sold separately) for ease of use and movement throughout the lab.
Heavy duty corrugated radioactive waste boxes have a radiation and caution warning symbols imprinted on the boxes. These can be used individually or with a Rad-4 Lock Box for a complete shielding waste system. Boxes ship flat to prevent damage and need to be folded into final shape before use.
