These alumina sample pans and covers are for use with DSC 4000, DSC 6000, DSC 8000, DSC 8500, Diamond DSC, Pyris 1 DSC, DSC 7, DSC 6, Pyris 6 DSC and Jade DSC.
PerkinElmer supplies specialty pans and covers for applications that require high temperatures or large sample volumes. With a maximum pressure threshold of ambient, most of these pans do not require a crimper. These thin ultra-light foil pans can be used to run HyperDSC methods on solid samples. The thin material provides optimal thermal contact between the sample and the sensor. The sample wrap reduces thermal gradients while scanning at fast rates.
