This refill kit is for the PG-H2 Plus Pure Gas Hydrogen Generator. Pure gas hydrogen generators employ the newest membrane technology available for the safe production of pure hydrogen gas. This patented design is ideal for operation with gas analyzers, as fuel gas for flame tools, or as a source for pure hydrogen in plasma chambers and other isolated environments. Electrolytic membrane technology is preferred over alternative hydrogen generating techniques because it is clean, requires less maintenance and there is no need to store chemicals to maintain operation. The generators offer silent operation and require only deionized or distilled water with no caustic solutions which can affect the purity of the hydrogen.

Rechargeable Desiccant Kit comes with two desiccant cartridges. Rechargeable desiccant cartridges are contained in rigid metal cages which are user-installable. One cartridge is required for the 1000/RX/ BX and Paragon 500/1000/1600 instruments. The second cartridge is a spare. It is recommended to have spare desiccant cartridges available so when a desiccant change is required recharged desiccant can be installed immediately.

Clear polycarbonate desiccator having extra heavy walls to eliminate the danger of implosion. Desiccator will hold a vacuum of 740mm of Hg (29”) for a period of 24 hours. Space saving design of the desiccator dome provides maximum interior clearances, giving an average of 13% greater interior volume than hemispherical domes. The supplied polypropylene stopcock has a PTFE plug which turns easily, allowing a slow, gentle entrance of air to prevent unnecessary turbulence and crucible damage. Stopcock port accepts 1/4” I.D. tubing. Supplied complete with a neoprene o-ring unaffected by temperatures down to 0ºC. Polypropylene plate that is supplied with the desiccator is 1/8” thick with 1/8” perforations for air transfer.
