Shaft is precision ground and polished to fit Chemglass's CG-2077-H, CG-2077-G and CG-2077-U style 10mm PTFE bearings. Designed to be used with cylindrical type reactors. The curved glass blades are spaced 120 apart and angled upward. PLEASE NOTE: STIRRER SHAFTS ARE DESIGNED FOR CLOCKWISE ROTATION.

Flexible Drive Shaft, 5/16" End Fittings, One Male, One Female. Flexible drive shaft permits the drive motor to be remotely mounted thereby providing for easier access to glassware components. Shaft is 48" in length and can be operated at speeds to 2,000 RPM. Heavy duty 0.250" diameter steel flexible shaft in encased in vinyl with steel end fittings. Can be operated bent at a 12" minimum radius and still have a torque rating of 21 in-lbs. The shaft has 5/16" end fittings, one male and one female. Adapters are available for use with other size motor shafts.

Compact Tru-Stir Shaft Coupling fits 12.7mm Shaft OD for use with Jacobs Chuck. Similar to CG-2044 but the overall height is 1 shorter. The unique design of Chemglass's Tru-Stir stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical Stainless Steel spring permitting up to 1/8 of offset misalignment. Coupling is rated for 21 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated with common coil springs.

Stirrer Bearing with side Hose Connection, PTFE, Complete, fits 10mm Shaft, 24/40 Inner Joint. PTFE stirrer bearing with a hose connection for vacuum or inert gas source on a single neck flask. Grease-free design has only glass and PTFE in contact with the reaction, and can be used under moderate vacuum applications. Bearing consists of a threaded glass adapter having the listed inner joint size, a saddle o-ring, a body bushing with a compression and locking nut, and a precision PTFE inner bearing. Saddle o-ring provides vacuum tight seal and is replaceable at a fraction of the cost of the entire bearing. Hose connection is 10mm at the largest serration. PLEASE NOTE: FOR USE ONLY WITH CG-2078 OR CG-2079 PRECISION GROUND AND POLISHED STIRRER SHAFTS.

Grease-Free PTFE stirrer bearing for use under moderate vacuum. The bearing consists of a PTFE standard taper body, PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) compression cap, PTFE Insert/bushing and a Nylon loosening nut. The PTFE insert/bushing provides only glass and PTFE contact with the reaction. Loosening nut above the standard taper inner joint allows easy and quick removal. Supplied complete with a Perfluoro o-ring on the body and a Viton o-ring on the bushing.
