The design of our Tru-Stir stirrer shaft coupling eliminates the need to use rubber hose or universal adapters to attach your stirrer shafts to overhead stir motors. Coupling incorporates a unique helical S.S. spring permitting up to 1/4¿ of offset misalignment and 45¿ of angular misalignment. Coupling is rated for 24 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated with common coil springs. Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter with a one piece collar for attachment to 19mm (OD) stirrer shafts. Female Upper Coupling is 12mm. Overall length of the coupling is 4¿. Coupling incorporates a unique helical S.S. spring permitting up to 1/8” of offset misalignment. Coupling is rated for 21 in-lbs of torque without the backlash normally associated w/common coil springs.Lower portion of coupling has a nylon adapter w/one piece collar for attachment to 14mm stirrer shafts. Upper adapters permit the coupling to be used w/ a standard Jacobs style 3-jaw chuck. Upper coupling size is 3/8". Adapter is also available for use with CG-2047 flexible shafts having 5/16” end fittings. Overall length of the coupling is 3”. Supplied complete with an allen wrench set.
