These stage micrometers are available with a calibration certificate that provides traceability for the precise calibration and confirmation of accuracy of optical measuring instruments, necessary under ISO provisions. The glass discs are mounted in stainless steel slides with engraved serial numbers. Each slide is supplied in a polished wooden storage case. Very strong and rugged clear polycarbonate box to store standard pin mounts with 3.2mm (1/8"). This box is watertight, crushproof and dustproof. The strong hinges, locking clasps and soft silicone O-ring seal makes this an ideal transport, shipping and storage box for SEM samples on pin mounts. The holder insert is numbered 1-18 and accommodates all types of pin mounts form 6.4 to 50mm diameter.
Ted Pella Inc PELCO Tabs™, Carbon Conductive Tabs, 6mm OD
The simplicity of application and smooth, clean surfaces of PELCO Tabs™ Carbon Conductive Tabs are a significant improvement compared to many of the other common adhesives that have been used in SEM mounting. Both tab sides have a thick conductive adhesive (conductive inner tab is 35µm and the adhesive is 45µm on each side for a total thickness of 125µm [5 mils]) with a liner on both sides, a transparent liner and white liner respectively. They are ready for immediate use. The top protective liner does not have to be removed until the sample is ready to be mounted. This reduces possible contamination. Outgassing is negligible.
Ted Pella Inc Ultrathin Carbon Film on Lacey Carbon Support Film, 300 mesh, Gold, 25/pk
Pure carbon support films with no Formvar backing. This new product has an even thinner carbon film which is mounted on a Lacey carbon film. The carbon support layer lying over the holes is less than 3nm in thickness and is the thinnest support film available. It is particularly useful for high resolution microscopy of low contrast particles and is also ideal for use with the Energy Filtering TEM.

A formvar coated grid, stabilized with evaporated carbon film. This type of coating is excellent for specimen support, especially for ultra thin sections. All of our coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the EM. Packed in grid storage box. NOTE: All of our film is laid on the shiny side of the grid. Formvar is approximately 10 nm thick with 1 nm of carbon.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Variable Size Geological Thin Section Holder, 9.5mm Pin
This thin section holder is made from vacuum grade aluminum with copper clips and brass screws . The unit measures 51x32x8 mm and holds either standard thin sections of 47 x 27 mm or smaller or larger thin sections. Smallest size would be 40x20 mm. The holder comes complete with 2 clips to insure nothing moves. The holder has convenient tweezer inserts which allow for easy loading.

SPM calibration specimens are produced by holographic fabrication that assures high accuracy and precision. The standards provide easier testing of your SPM, improved accuracy of critical dimension measurements and accuracy of 0.5% (1 std. dev.). The pattern height of greater than 100nm provides excellent image contrast. There is uniform coverage of entire chip which allows for imaging anywhere on the chip. Has a nominal period (pitch) of 150 nm, one dimensional, fabricated on a transparent substrate (Aluminum lines on glass).
